About Furious Angels

FEATURES

 • Fight against waves of increasing difficulty, randomized on each day.
 • Airborne upgrades, transform into a flying tank!
 • Compete on the daily leaderboards to become the most furious.
 • Rank up on each new day and unlock specific achievements.
 • Simple controls, you can play with one hand. Hard to master.
 • Modular destruction of the bigger ships gives you the tactical edge.
 • Ram the enemy!

HOW DOES IT PLAY?

The recommended way to play Furious Angels is with the mouse: aim, fire with the left button, thrust with the right button and hold your fire to repair. Thats it.

You can also use a more familiar twin-stick control scheme with your Gamepad OR Mouse + WASD.

LEADERBOARDS?

Absolutely, but there's a catch: everything will reset the next day with a rank upgrade and new waves, a fresh start.

WHAT ABOUT THE UPGRADES?

As you shred the enemy to pieces your ship will transform and upgrade automatically. There are four upgrade stages, each with its own unique weapon. Upgrades can level up and be obtained multiple times but each time they will be harder to get. How furious will you become?

Furious Angels, developed and published by MorfeoDev, is a fast-paced arcade shooter that embraces the old-school philosophy of chasing high scores while incorporating a few modern ideas to keep players invested over the long term. Released in 2017, the game wastes no time introducing its central concept: survive increasingly dangerous waves of enemies while constantly pushing for a better performance. There is no elaborate storyline or cinematic presentation to distract from the action. Instead, Furious Angels focuses entirely on delivering a pure arcade experience where every second matters and every mistake can end a promising run. One of the game's most interesting features is its daily challenge structure. Enemy waves are procedurally arranged each day, creating a fresh experience whenever players return. This system gives the title an impressive amount of replayability, particularly for those who enjoy competing on online leaderboards. Since everyone faces the same daily conditions, there is a genuine sense of competition as players attempt to outperform one another through skill rather than luck. It is a clever way to extend the lifespan of a relatively compact game and enc…

Simple shoot 'm up that's very easy to learn but extremely hard to master. Defend your carrier with a tiny ship against increasingly challenging waves of enemies. You'll get a set of fixed upgrades after certain amounts of kills and revert back to the original ship if upgrade gets destroyed. Runs last from several seconds to several minutes. A run of five minutes is concidered great, you're a pro now. Besides the shooting, there's not a lot of stuff going on. No skill trees or meta progression. It's basically a very hard but good arcade game with an online leaderbord. Also highly advise playing with mouse and keyboard because precision aiming is a must have to be successful.

An Absolute Gem… Just Not for Everyone And now you died. I don’t like hard games anymore. 40+ years of “hard difficulty” have been enough. These days I want slow. I want calm and deep. And then there are Furious Angels – a game where you can die in seconds. And you will. The movement never stops, enemies never stop, everything explodes… and now you just died. Again. You’ll die a lot. But each time you’ll do a little better — not because of some rogue-lite upgrade system, but because you’re learning. Enemy patterns, timing, your own mistakes. You just died. But this time you know it was your fault. Start again. The core mechanic is devilishly simple: the only reason to stop shooting is that your ship heals while you’re not firing. But if you’re not firing, you’ll probably die. Guess what just happened... It’s a game about movement, shooting and knowing when to stop shooting just long enough to survive, and slowly sharpening your skill. Minimalist, yet very nice and polished. Brutal, but also brutally fair. Also, you just died. Start again.

Brilliant graphics and really good gameplay, unfortunatly the developer decided to change the zoom out in the game so it became unplauable
