Dinoku is a fun and easy puzzle game, suitable for various age groups. The mechanics are very easy to learn and the puzzles usually flow effortlessly one after another, with little struggle for finding the right solution, apart from the last few levels, which require a tiny bit of thinking. The goal in each level is to find the right path so that your cute little dino character steps on all the floor tiles marked with a leaf. The game progressively introduces several variations of these tiles: there are special leaves that you can take to skip one square, others are poisonous and your dino has to reach a tile with a cure, other tiles produce new tiles around them. Each of their mechanics are well explained and gradually introduced with levels that help you understand immediately how they work in practice. This makes the game a great and at the same time a fun way to develop your kid's logical thinking. The lovely dino characters and the adorable walking animations, together with the childish music also make this game enjoyable by younger games, but also by a more mature audience. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1329246912 All the 75 levels availabl…31 found this helpful
dinoku is a cute puzzler where feeding dinos is of utmost importance. numbered tiles indicate how many times they need to be stepped on, so it's kinda like a draw a single line game, though I'm sure there's a separate subgenre for it I'm not aware of. 75 levels unlocked one by one, with various new mechanics popping up every now and then, explained in broken english. things like golden leaves that let you step on an empty tile, hot leaves that won't let you use the magic power of golden leaves (they can still be eaten), and refreshing leaves to negate the effect of hot leaves. golden leaves don't have to be used up with the very next move, but they don't stack if you eat more without stepping on a gap. and there are trees that drop leaves on all four sides. wasd, arrows and mouse clicks all work for movement, tab or clicking switches between available dinos. there's level reset (without a hotkey, my biggest gripe with the game), but no undo, which is surprising in a game at least partially aimed at kids, but it's very much on the easy side, so whatever. no timer or move limit, good enough presentation and music, separate volume settings, windowed mode, resol…10 found this helpful
Cute and short game, mostly easy enough for kids and casual players. Level 67 was tricky for me until I noticed a key detail. The rest were pretty short taking a few minutes or less to solve. Bear in mind the amount of content is small and don't expect a lengthy challenge. That being said, all can be solved by logic, which is nice. The backgrounds change when you restart a level, which is subtle but gives some variety. Nicely made puzzle experience.1 found this helpful
I love the game, you need to be focused to solve the problems. Having said that, I'm stuck at level 67 T_T... Heeelp!1 found this helpful
Nice little puzzle game. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be possible to play past level 26 on the mouse as you can't click the empty spaces.
Wow, excellent game, much deeper than I thought for first. Just try to reach some 50ish level and you will see. Also cool for kids!
