✦ AI summary

Players praise Cardinal Cross as a well-written sci-fi visual novel with engaging world-building, attractive artwork, and a meaningful choice system that genuinely affects the story's multiple endings. However, several reviewers note the game relies on familiar sci-fi tropes and has minor issues that prevent it from being truly outstanding, though most still recommend it as a solid, reasonably short experience for VN fans.

Such an amazing Sci-Fi VN! The world and characters were so well written and the wonderful CG's, and other backgrounds, were nice to look at! Also how can you not like it with an exceptionally helpful, and adorable, auxibot like Kitt in it!
CARDINAL CROSS 2 WAITING ROOM
Cardinal Cross is a science fiction Visual Novel with romance elements. It may not be something super unique and is filled with all the sci-fi tropes that you can think of, but I still found it enjoyable. Giving the player the ability to shape the future of the galaxy is always fun if done right. I think that Cardinal Cross was able to (mostly) deliver on that front. It took me 7 hours to beat the game and see two different endings. You can probably add ~3 hours if you want to see everything. I think that many players exaggerated with their praise in reviews. Cardinal Cross IS a GOOD game, but it has too many small "problems" to make it truly GREAT. Still, thumbs up from me. I hope that we will see Cardinal Cross 2 some day, with all the improvements. World and Characters Like I said earlier, it's not the most unique sci-fi world out there, but it has some interesting elements that are a big part of the story. Using common tropes is not a bad thing if you can make it believable or at least entertaining. In my opinion, it's not a big problem - the world served its purpose as a "base" for the story rather well. The characters are harder…

Cardinal Cross is a story-driven science-fiction visual novel that combines personal relationships, political unrest, moral choices, and a large-scale galactic conflict into an engaging narrative adventure. The story centers on Lana Brice, a Raider Scavenger whose relatively modest existence is disrupted after an encounter with a mysterious client places her in the middle of something far more dangerous than an ordinary job. What initially appears to be a personal problem gradually expands into a conflict involving powerful factions, longstanding oppression, social inequality, and events capable of affecting countless lives. Developed and published by LarkyLabs, the game places considerably more emphasis on character decisions and narrative consequences than traditional gameplay mechanics. One of its most appealing features is the freedom given to players when shaping Lana's personality. She is not simply a protagonist whose behavior remains identical regardless of player input. Dialogue choices allow different attitudes to emerge, influencing how she responds to danger, relationships, authority, and the people surrounding her. The personality system gives conversations a stronger…

Absolutely amazing! I never knew how many possible endings there were to this game. On my first playthrough I somehow managed to get the worst ending, so trying to get the other endings is so entertaining.

I went in with eyes open, unsure of what it contained. The write up made it seem "out there". So far it aint bad,, they male's have tried to hit on me but I put them down. I feel, being near half way through, the female one will come along soon. I do like my character as she can dish it out when she needs to and ♥♥♥♥♥ on those who deserve it. I do recommend it so far..

A quite good visual novel, with an interesting story and a good choice system. It's not the best on the market, and considering the sheer number of VNs out there it's probably not your first pick, but if you're looking for something decent, short and out there, you'll want to try this one out.
