Civitatem

...It's not good. I've come back to Civitatem 4 times since I bought it, hoping it would get better, or at least have some more content drops. It hasn't. It's nowhere near worth the low price, and feels like something I should be playing on my phone while waiting for my insomnia medication to kick in. Updates have been absolutely unnoticable, and other than running a surface level village, there's nothing else to do, other than build a library and a church (which are the only winning conditions and end goals of the game). Some people are comparing Civitatem to Rimworld. They have literally NOTHING in common, other than that they're both colony simulators, which doesn't even feel right to say, since Civitatem barely fits into the colony genre. Rimworld is just leagues better. I've put hundreds of hours into Rimworld, and I'm still not bored of it. I just put 15 minutes into Civitatem, and I'm hiding it from my Steam library. The only reason I came back to play it was the addition of achievements. One of those achievements is to "Participate in the Winter 2022 event". every time I play this game it gets glitched whenever the second raid starts. EVERY time. Then it will glitch the next time a raid happens. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I like this game. It's simple and fun to play.

It was alright, all kinds of updates were planned out for the game.. promises made etc. About as disappointing as my ex. thanks for that It is abandonware now. No update for years.
