Boring match 3 game.
I don't know why I even bothered. This is worse than most other match 3 games and the genre in general is such a bore. PS: Playing while already sleepy will just make you grumpier. I enjoyed it at first -- I'm excited for anyone trying to do something new in the Match 3 game space -- but the mechanic quickly turns repetitive and you spend more time hoping for random button turnovers than actually playing the game. As the levels got longer and more difficult, I just found myself not enjoying it any longer.

Button Tales, developed and published by Anvate Games, is a puzzle game that takes the familiar structure of match-3 mechanics and subtly reshapes it into something more deliberate and mentally engaging. This seemingly small addition fundamentally alters how the game is played. Instead of simply reacting to the board as it appears, players are constantly manipulating it into a more favorable configuration, thinking several moves ahead to set up efficient chains. The result is a gameplay loop that feels less dependent on chance and more rooted in deliberate strategy, even though an element of unpredictability still exists. This added layer of control is particularly important given the constraints imposed by the game’s level de…

A fun and clever twist on the Connect 3 genre. The buttons are double-sided, which means they can not only be swapped but also flipped—giving you even more options. Plus, they’re cute… May I eat the fruit-shaped ones, please?
