In Sound Mind

After leaving the first house and reaching Tape 1, the game finally gets really interesting, i liked more the next tapes tho. It starts giving me strong Resident Evil vibes, especially with the atmosphere, exploration, puzzles and horror. Definitely worth playing if you like Resident Evil-style games!

One of my FAVORITE games, by far. biggest fixation I've had. all achievements completed. <3

Aside from some annoying design choices to artificially extend playtime, like forcing you to press 'E' eight times to unscrew four separate screws or 4 times just to open a door, this is an amazing game. Definitely worth playing!

Me lo compre porque el soundtrack era de TLT, pero sinceramente, me he encontrado una maravilla de juego. Con una jugabilidad al estilo Resident Evil, un estilo artistico muy bueno, una historia genial que me ha hecho querer adentrarme en la historia de cada uno de los pacientes y obviamente, un soundtrack genial.

I have enjoyed the game, though I have some mixed feelings. Fist things first: it fails as a horror game. The enemies don't feel threatening, I even found them goofy most of the time. I liked the atmosphere, but it felt more melancholic than scary. The puzzles quality varies: some feel like chores, others are fun. Either way, very few of them play into the horror aspect of the game. That said, I think the highlight of the game are the characters. [spoiler]Piecing together their stories and peering into their minds was by far the most engaging aspect of the game to me[/spoiler]. The story is great, as well as the message it conveys, but [spoiler]it directly clashes with its horror side. A horror game should feel hostile to the player, but, because of the constant positive messaging, In Sound Mind instead feels "well meaning". The game presents you some psychological horror and then gives you more than enough psychological comfort to deal with it. Which absolutely makes sense thematically, but, again, to the detriment of the horror.[/spoiler] In short, if you are looking for a horror experience, this game isn't it. But if you're in it for the story, then you won't be disappointed!
