One of the best horror games I've played. If you like using your brain instead of just running from monsters, you'll love this game. The puzzles are great, the item combinations feel rewarding, and learning the map brought me back to the good old days of classic survival horror. Caroline is also a really likable character. I'm playing Tormented Souls 2 now, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Highly recommended for anyone who misses old-school horror games
I've never been a huge fan of these resident evil / silent hill type survival horror games with fixed camera angles, but this game opened up that world for me positively. It's a super good and well polished game that I very much enjoyed playing. There were a few instances where I had to look at a walkthrough from youtube since my IQ wasn't high enough, but other than that a very nice experience. I especially liked the mood, the music, the graphics and the feeling of safety in safe rooms and the main hall. The game mechanics are pretty straightforward while introducing new and interesting elements throughout the game. The combat gets easier when you understand the better strategies. I can recommend this game for horror fans and also people who are new to this, like me.
