Enjoy the Diner is a short narrative adventure that turns an ordinary family restaurant into an unexpectedly mysterious and contemplative setting. Developed by 月刊湿地帯 and Studio Dragonet and published by Waku Waku Games, the game takes place primarily inside Moon Palace, a restaurant that exists under circumstances far removed from everyday reality. Instead of relying on action or complicated systems, it builds its appeal through conversation, observation, unusual characters, and the gradual discovery of what this peculiar location represents. The gameplay combines visual novel storytelling with straightforward point-and-click adventure elements. Exploration consists of examining the surroundings, interacting with objects, speaking with the restaurant's inhabitants, and selecting responses during conversations. it's a point and click game where you talk to a bunch of people. and it's very, very important to me. there's so much charm and character and personality in this game. the soundtrack is really captivating and memorable, and suits the setting a lot. i wish it was longer, because you end up caring for this world and these people so much more than you realize in the (relatively) short time the game takes. hell i replayed this game like 3 times and then worked my ass off to full clear the achievements the narrative presented through the dialogues unravels in a really engaging way. you even get some fun lore tidbits at the end after you complete the game :) the sound and illustration gallery are some of my favourite things about it entirely it's steep priced for what it's worth in terms of hours, but i promise the experience of playing it is worth it. so go get some drinks at moon palace.

From the moment I saw this game I knew I was gonna love it. Just the idea of a diner like this is fascinating. The way it's explored in the dialogue is engaging and feels personal to the characters and built a sense of connection. The underlying narrative is so intriguing as it's slowly revealed, tons to uncover :)). The soundtrack is short and sweet. I love the original but the piano brings something extra that must be heard. LockPicker piano is a favorite. This is a story I'll remember.

Very relaxing visual novel. Despite a majority of the game consisting of menial conversations, it was never boring.

One of the few indie games nowadays with a lot of uniqueness to it while also being great. Please play it in one sitting.
