I'm not a fan of Star Trek, but this game is great, no matter the skin it has
This is a good Star Trek game, where thinking is the most important thing, it does have some action aim and shoot sequences, but the responsiveness of to the controller is not very good. Runs very well on the Legion Go I get 60FPS on 1080p Max settings while plugged, a bit less on 800p when on battery. It IS buggy, expect some Tricorder stuck issues.
It may be a little janky, but this game has passion and soul clearly by the writing and references to past Trek episodes. Characters are all believable and hold different persepctives. Gameplay is mixed enough to enjoy but the story for me was fantastic, it is just like a long Star Trek film from the post-TNG era, I want more!
I wasn't sure if I'd like this game. I was wrong. I LOVE it. I want more games in the Star Trek Universe that is like this game. You feel real weight to your choices, and there is often no clear choice that is best. AND there are consequences to your actions. It's great.
