SuperPosition review 🟩 Multi-puzzle of madness 🔹EXPECTATIONS: a sokoban game where you control a character in multiple instances at once. 🔹REALITY: a sokoban game themed around 'quantum' (to exist, or not, in parallel dimensions) where the player AND interactable level elements can be affected by it. 🔶 SuperPosition is a sokoban game where interactable elements can exist in different versions of the same level, according to different in-game rules. At the basic level, its mechanics are easy to understand: one can split itself into two different versions of oneself in separate iterations of the same level; but when more mechanics are added affecting other level elements aside from the player, and one can keep creating multiple copies of those copies (and so on), it can get out of hands. 🔸 It's difficulty curve is a bit of a heart-rate graph, and I feel that if the levels where grouped by mechanics more clearly, the progress would be smoother. It's double sided, as the more messy levels are also the more satisfying to solve, but it can get frustrating if one can't keep track of everything that changes with every move. SuperPosition is a fantastic puzzle game with a unique and creative mechanic. At first, I was solving puzzles purely on intuition, but the more I played, the better I understood the core concept. This made the experience even more enjoyable as I progressed. There's something incredibly satisfying about finally solving a puzzle that had me stumped for a while.

A fun puzzle game. Really high quality of graphics, UI, and animations, combined with rather logical levels that can be completed with (sometimes a lot) attempts even if one's not anywhere near a puzzle expert. Also - Ctrl Z, my beloved Undo <3.
