The Secret of Hutton Grammar School
BottomLine at the Top:
Very short game that has that classic style we all wish there were more of.
Intro:
This game is incredibly short and I'm filling it out in my standard review template purely out of a deeply ingrained habit formed from 100+ P&C reviews. -------------------------------------
Pros:
------------------------------------- -Starts right up despite being an AGS game -Has music -Brief but professional Voice Acting (Who I swear sounds like the YouTuber Oxhorn but is actually someone who's done a ton of other VA work.) -Some funny scenes. -Interestingly has a "listen" action but no "speak" action. Can't think of any P&C's I've played in the past off the top of my head that has this so I thought it was mildly interesting. -Despite this being a remake of a 90's AGI game, time was actually taken to animate a couple of detailed sprite animations. -------------------------------------
Meh...:
------------------------------------- -A few incredibly minor errors (word not spoken by VA, certain icons end up performing the same action) -I'm normally not a big Steam achievements guy…

Nice little piece of a point&click adventure, putting you in the shoes of a high-school janitor that has to stop a mysterious cult taking root in his school (and can do it just under 20 minutes, including all achievements). This game can be a good start for players that haven’t played point&click adventures before and want to give them a try, for a small fee of 1 buck.

This game is based on my high school. Unfortunately we didn't have a lisping cult leader

Nice little game. The achievement are sometimes dumb, but it have 10 of them. Music and graphics are cool (for this type of game) The story and puzzle are not particularly brilliant ... I enjoy it and recommend it !

This is a a diverting point and click adventure that will take about a half an hour to play, In my mind that makes it worth 50 cents, get it at that price if you can and like point and click adventures.

Game feels unfinished and story line is meh. Most annoying is that it messes up the screen resolution of my computer after I quit. Will refund.
