About Nayati River

In just a few hours, the region of Nayati River suddenly descended into chaos. From the seaside in the east to the national park in the north, the majority of inhabitants suddenly turned into living dead, forming ferocious hordes hungry for the blood of the living.

A few survivors, however, found refuge in the national park, once populated by the powerful native American tribe of Chief Nayati, whose mysterious legend seems to echo the cataclysm the region is experiencing today!

This is where the survivors' adventure begins! They must build and manage a secure and autonomous camp, with the help of a large range of structures unlocked through discoveries and events, as well as repair and upgrade their vehicles to ensure the group's survival in a world infested with the dead.

To do this, they will need to journey out into the vast region of Nayati River in search of the many resources, construction materials, vehicles, documents, weapons and armor found throughout the area, all while fighting the hordes of the dead roaming everywhere. And also to start looking for the dozens of missing who will join the ranks of the community, to find each a place in the group according to their skills and personalities.

But the infestation of the dead in the region cannot go unanswered! The survivors will have to summon their courage, their sense of organization and their wits to head the investigation over the course of a perilous adventure, which will lead them to the four corners of the region in hope of putting an end to the crisis and unraveling the mysteries of the legend of Nayati River!

Meh doesn't really offer anything other zombie survival games aren't doing better. I see reviews comparing it to State of Decay 2 but it feels closer to Dead State, but even saying that is a stretch as with Dead State the characters are interesting, while State of Decay has heart pumping action. This game has neither. Not really sure why this game exists, it doesn't offer anything new or improved. Its story and characters are lack luster. Its gameplay is basic and dull. And the graphics could be overlooked if the game had 'heart' which it does not. I'd recommend skipping this game unless you see ALOT of content updates or you see it in a crazy 90% off steam sale. The whole experience was really dull :(
Scratched an Itch
Picked this up during the spring sale for $6CAD, and do not regret it. Played almost 20 hours and beat it, so worth the investment. I see comparisons to State of Decay and Dead State. Both are relevant in their own way. You can see from the screenshots it looks like Dead State, and the SoD portion is from the base building aspect. You start with a few survivors, create a safe zone, explore the map. From there you get more survivors and resources to eventually make your stronghold better, while worrying about food, water, electricity and morale. Standard recipe, but tried and true. I enjoyed the indigenous spin on the genre. The game has a few glitches here and there, but nothing stood out as something I truly disliked. I see a lot of the complaints had been addressed over time. Are there moments with a bit of a glitch, sure, but not game breaking. Is the game made challenging by a lack of super clear instructions at times, sure. Nothing a google search or patience wouldn’t have sorted out though. Sound – It has what you would expect. I never found myself annoyed with the audio, but I wouldn’t buy the soundtrack either. Graphics…

this game could be masterpiece but dev abandon it. Its really shame, one big update and everything could be so much better. Love idea, love everything about this game, but negative is because dev promised so much new things and nothing happened shame on you little man, Only faster time would make this game much better, other promised things would make it masterpiece After some time i played it again and after 19h (nearly end of game) i cant change zone and im stuck. So its basically broken. Yeah my review is still negative thanks for asking

I'm neutral on this game. I like the idea. I like the zombie apocalypse theme. I like gathering resources and discovering new building options. I like assigning people to positions. I like that the characters have back stories and independent missions they'd like to accomplish. What I don't like are the mechanics of this game. There's no way to speed up time even to just go to sleep in game because the game is way too dark at night. The combat is not good. For example I tried to send an ally to attack an enemy, but even if you right click on them with a person selected if they aren't very close or on the screen then they'll just stand still. There's no way to heal up a character in the early game. Sending them to rest at home should take care of that or perhaps the nurse or ranger you have on your team, but you can't. If your character gets knocked down there's nothing that can be done, but to lay down and die. Lastly the map is large, which I like, but there's no way to quickly go from point a to point b. I mean that visually. For example if you have a character hotkeyed you'd think clicking that key once or twice would take you to them. That doesn't happen. The map is a normal …

Immediate refund. No options for resolution and auto resolution on a 4k monitor hides part of the screen and keeps the UI and menus at a lower resolution so they cover most of the screen. Has no updates since 2021. Do not buy
