LOOOONG review – I like to yap - TLDR: it's a nice small game (less than 4 hours to complete I think), nice niche art style/soundtrack/vibe - the plot-twist/big reveal of the game isn't mind-blowing but it's still nice (if anything it’ll make you go “oooh, ok yeah that makes sense” and maybe hit you in the feels like it did for me near the end), the "BL" aspect of the game isn't some MLM romance fest – it's a nice touching bond/love that develops/is shown to you throughout the game – and the game is INCORRECTLY tagged as dating sim by users – not the developers – it's a mystery visual novel that has key-elements that feature MLM characters sure – but not some MLM dating sim/game where the main focus is the romance between 2 characters (like a traditional BL game/BL novel). I personally enjoyed this! Bought in on discount for 1,99€ - a nice small game for a reasonable price. Things to consider before buying (basically my pros and cons): Storytelling/writing/visual aspects & things to note: • Having trouble seeing/knowing who's talking – This is a fault that many VNs have mind you not just this game. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's talking befor…

I am not joking when I tell you this is the first piece of media to EVER make me cry. This game HURT me. And I think that it's not fair if I'm the only one hurt by it so you should play it too. Suffer alongside me!! All of my joking aside, this was a very cute but very devastating game. I know a lot of people have said that the story is somewhat uninteresting, and the puzzles quite easy (guys I am NOT going to lie to you, I
suffered through the letter jumble minigame for like 10 minutes until it gave me the answer
), but if you're bad at gaming like me the first run alone will keep you entertained for 2-3 hours, just as advertised!! I also especially enjoyed the flowchart system, even if it took a second to really understand. This was a very unique take on a
time-loop game
, which I adore! I'm not too much of a romance enjoyer, at least not by itself. I absolutely enjoy it at certain times, but I tend to prefer a 40% or less balance of romance to other plot antics! For me, start;again was a really great mix - there were puzzles and stakes that kept me entertained, and, because they were so rare, the little moments between the MCs
Sev …

the story is simple, yet effective. the playtime is short, but it makes use of its' time well, and the puzzles aren't too mind-boggling that you'd need a walkthrough for it. if you have dabbled in playing and/or making puzzles before, the solution comes up fast enough that it's doesn't break your immersion. it even has an in-game notebook you can drawn on! which... leaves a lot to be desired, but if it works, it works, the pieces have been laid out in a way that you can figure out what the mystery is before it even happens, and, personally, that's how well-written mysteries should be. i actually got this game for one of my friends since this type of game is within their ballpark.

A game made in one month. I was upset by the use of AI backgrounds, stock images would have worked much better. But that is my only gripe. For the timecrunch it's surprisingly quality, the writing is good. Sev is insufferable to begin with but I was fine with him by the end. The mechanic of jumping timelines was unique and I had a good time with the puzzles, they were surprisingly difficult. The story is simple but does a great job of not unfolding too easily, and I was attached to all the characters, which is essential for a story like this. I would love to see a more polished version of the game with more CGs and content, but I'm happy with what I got.
