This rules! One of the few extreme sports games that properly nail the vibe and the physics of the old THPS games without directly cloning either: the game gets rid of THPS' awkward separation between vert and street tricks, but it does not just treat the unicycle as a skateboard, and in turn you have keep in mind which side to grind on and what speed you're taking into combos. The game is on the short side with five levels, but all of them feel properly designed with plenty of combo opportunities.

A whole lot of fun and does an amazing job at translating what a unicycle would control like in a THPS-type format. Music is also fantastic as well as the whole design being very retro as well. My only real complaint at the moment is that I think the game is just a tad bit short with there only being five levels to play through. If there were more levels to play through and explore that were added in the future possibly as DLC that would be fantastic but otherwise, this is game wonderful and I highly recommend you check out this hidden gem.

I bought this game after seeing it advertised in a mod for a old Tony Hawk game, and after seeing someone on YouTube play through it with the developer on commentary. I've only played through a small chunk of the game in the past year, but what I did play was fun. Sure, the controls are a little weird and take some getting used to, but for me that adds to the charm of it. I quite like the level design, and I LOVED getting gaps for wall tapping and footplanting random things in the levels I played. For a game that says it SUX, I liked it quite a bit. Hoping there might be a sequel one day.

[h3][i]I mainly played this on my Nintendo Switch 2, but I owned a copy on Steam and wanted to share my thoughts here for anyone curious on grabbing a copy[/i][/h3] This can easily be described (and has been) as "PS1 era [i]Tony Hawk Pro Skater[/i], but with unicycles", but it's so much more than that. It's also taking elements of the [i]Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX[/i] with the way you control the unicycle, which adds a degree of challenge to it if your brain is wired like mine from playing so much [i]THPS[/i] in your lifetime. My first run of this took forever because I absolutely sucked at it, but I felt how much I was improving with later runs, with my last few playthroughs of the career mode taking less than ten minutes. Extreme sports games haven't challenged me in over two decades now and it was refreshing (and a wake up call) to have one that did force me to teach myself the mechanics of a new game. You can tell this game was made with a lot of love, from the messages you get about certain locations in levels and the credits literally thanking everyone who helped with developing this and inspiring certain elements (both personally and famous people, like Tony Hawk himself).
