Blacksmith Run

I strongly support indie games, and honestly, the developer Kuko, despite making simple games with Game Maker Studio and RPG Maker, usually delivers fairly decent and even good titles. But this one… this one is a complete disaster. At first, I thought it might be one of their early projects, an initial attempt with understandable flaws. But no, they have several games under their belt, which makes this mess even more inexplicable. The game is a platformer where the character moves forward automatically, and the only things you can do are stop or jump. Turning? Forget it. It’s as if they thought, "Why give the player full control when we can just make them suffer?" And the problem isn't just the severely limited mechanics, the levels themselves look like they were designed blindfolded, or rather, with zero care. This classic platformer is both captivating and demanding. Players will find themselves running, jumping, and facing death repeatedly. Small little 2d jumpnrun. Pretty simple. Controlling the guy feels okay enough. You cant change controls, I kept pressing spacebar for jumping, but it didnt do anything, couldnt get myself to use W for jumping. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, so dont judge me :D (i probably got it through some sort of bundle)

May be small but its challenging atleast

Some pretty insane lag for me whenever I jump. In general the controlls felt really sluggish and not at all like the trailer.
