About Jump4

Jump4 is a game that you can play with only one button : SPACE

There are certain jump loops each level. Every time you press SPACE you jump according to where you are in the loop. You can keep jumping until you run out of jumps… if you can manage to keep up.

Gameplay

  • Follow the jumping loops.
  • You have limited jumps for every level.
  • Please do not try to use W,A,S,D. No need for it.
  • Some levels are hard. Some are… less hard.
A platformer that’s a bit hard to learn, and even harder to master. There’s only one thing you need to do: JUMP.

✦ AI summary

Players praise this platformer for its creative one-button mechanic, tight controls, and excellent music that complements each chapter's unique atmosphere. The challenging but fair difficulty is widely appreciated, with clever level design that gradually escalates throughout the game, though the high difficulty demands significant practice and patience from players.

This game has really challenging levels, but getting through them was very fun. Not to mention the fire BGM that goes on with the levels. My current record is 145 tries right now, but I'll be trying to finish this without dying once.

Didn’t expect much going in, but this turned out to be a really solid platformer. Music: 9/10 All the tracks fits the game and the level atmosphere really well and keeps you engaged. They are not repetitive, every single chapter has its's own distinct theme. Gameplay: 8/10 Smooth, responsive, and genuinely fun. Easy to pick up but hard to master in a good way. The logic behind the core mechanics is also also creative and enjoyable. Level Design: 8/10 Creative and well thought out. Each chapter has its own unique style, which keeps the experience fresh and interesting. Controls: 9/10 Tight and precise. You always feel in control, which is exactly what a platformer needs. Difficulty: 8/10 Challenging but fair without being frustrating. Mistakes feel like your own, not the game’s fault. Some levels could be a bit more difficult, but overall it’s well balanced. Suggestions: It would be great to see extra challenging chapters in the future, especially for speedrunners and players looking for a real test. It felt like this game has a lot of potential for that type of content. Also, I hope we’ll see more chapters in the future with new and varied content. Looking forward to how the…

A one button platformer which seems simple at first, but gradually becomes more challenging. Uses the "one button" mechanic cleverly and I think it shines the most at the last chapter.
