About PolyDestroyer

PolyDestroyer is a wave-based top-down space shooter about smart picks and staying alive as the arena gets busier. After each wave you choose one of three random, tiered upgrades. These upgrades stack during the run and shape your build.Between runs you spend coins on permanent upgrades that raise your baseline power and open new options. In combat, Turbo helps you reposition or escape danger, and Shield gives brief safety for clutch moments.Runs are short and readable. The core decisions are which upgrade to take and when to use a Turbo/Shield.

Key Features

  • Between-wave upgrades (per-run): three random choices after each wave; tiered and stackable.
  • Permanent upgrades: invest coins between runs for lasting power.
  • Turbo & Shield: quick repositioning and short invulnerability windows.
  • Weapons to discover: find weapons during a run, equip them for your next run to shape your build.
  • Ships: spend coins on different styles of ship.
  • Wave-based runs: survive a wave, pick an upgrade, go again.
  • Localized: English + 7 additional languages.
  • Steam Achievements.
  • Full controller support.

Is fun to play, controls are simple to understand, A bit difficult at first but i managed to figure out the controls. Health packs could probably do with buffing or enemy damage should be nerfed, especially for earlier stages (i died in my first game basically immediately). Overall though, good game, great value for money, would reccommend

Very retro 90's vibes are created with PolyDestroyer. It needs coordination to play but once you get the hang of it you level up and can upgrade your ship each level but you get to choose what you want to level up each time which gives a goal to work towards other than trying to beat high scores between friends.

This is a fun little desktop space-invaders style of shooter. You take control of a little spaceship and fight off waves of aliens who just want to ruin your day. Music is insanely good, and I felt compelled to keep trying to beat my high score (wave 14 at the moment) and unlock better weapons in the process. The spaceship has a little colour customisation too so you can use your favourite colour! All in all, a great little game and excellent value for money, would highly recommend this game. Now to reach wave 15 xD

Cute lil desktop game, pretty fun to open up for 5-10 minutes or so just trying to get a high score. Still needs some polish but if you like space invaders type arcade games you'd probably enjoy having this lil gem in ur library. Music has no right being as cool as it is <3 Really hopeful to see how this game develops.
