What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players consistently praise this roguelike FPS for its addictive, fast-paced gameplay and impressive variety of weapons, perks, and items that keep runs feeling fresh, though they emphasize the game is brutally difficult even for experienced players. The main complaint is a motion sickness issue caused by blue visual elements, and some note the game remains relatively underrated despite its quality, with a few wishing they understood more of the deeper lore. Overall, players find it challenging but rewarding, with plenty of unlockables to discover that drive long-term engagement.
Hands down one of my favorite games ever. Easily my fav Rougelike on Steam too. Its brutally hard, fast paced, skull bashing chaos. Whether you get clowned seconds after dropping in, or you become an immortal god whose only weakness is map hazards, it's extremely addicting hardcore gameplay that always has something new to offer you, whilst also constantly coming up with new ways to drive you insane. Prior to downloading the full game I played the demo for a VERY long time, probably too long, and after spending 460+ hours grinding through it, I thought I was prepared for the full game. I thought I would be able to cruise through the endless levels and easily beat everything. I was wrong, very wrong. Instantly I was met with a ridiculous amount of new weapons, perks, enemies, maps, and mechanics! I felt like a kid in a candy shop, but the kid realized the candy shop was also in Disney Land! I cannot praise the Devs enough for this absolute gem of a game! And I really dont understand how it isn't more popular!2 found this helpful
I hit #1 on the leaderboards by getting an ultra broken build that made me unkillable. 3 hour run. Really fun and challenging. My friend spoke to the dev on a discord and he thought I cheated to get #1. Nope, all legit! 10/10
genuinely pretty cool didnt expect to like the gunplay as much if i could change one thing it would be an option to turn of the blue visor thingies because they make me motion sick
This game is really hard, but actually really fun. I was pleasantly surprised. Play the demo, you'll get some of the gist of it, but remember that there are a bajillion more unlockables. And frankly, that's what keeps me playing, even though I am CONSTANTLY dying; the thrill of discovering a new item, and trying to pair it with another new weapon. Reminds me of Nightmare Reaper, but honestly there feels like more variety.
I can't believe this game isn't more popular! Perhaps one of my favorite FPS roguelikes. I feel like there's some sort of deeper story, but I'm not good enough at the game to uncover it all.
