I don't like leaving a negative review for both an indie game and a game I only played for so short a time, but I have to be honest I did not enjoy my experiance. I didn't enjoy the gameplay, level design, vissual design and above all the humor. It was like they looked at star fox 64 and went "Right! People largely remember how silly it was!" and took that to the extreme. I'm not one to say ST64 wasn't silly at times, but the joy of that was the contrast of some characters taking this super seriously while you have others like the truck drive train guy saying "step on the gas" in the same stock voice line over and over But what really got me was doing the third level for the fourth time because I did the instinct mode while making contact with a surface which caused me to hit it 6 times in a row killing me instantly I think this needs more time in the oven

I kind of hate leaving a negative review on a small indie game. And I was actually having some fun with it, but there is so many smaller issues and readability issues that I can't really rec in its current state. I made it to the crab boss and I just kept get hit by what seemed to be a strange invisible force during some sections of the fight. Not sure if there was a projectile or something else that I was missing. But I was pretty positive up to that point that I ignored some major negatives honestly. Lowering the resolution at any point will break something, either the boss health bar or the menus. I do like the nice look of the various levels and how, well varied they are, but the enemies tend to get kind of bloated. And the missile enemies themselves tend to kind of get spammed in certain levels. Honestly, if it wasn't for the strange crab glitch I would have finished the game, but ultimately I kind of had to call it quits. I'll keep an eye on the devs, and if they do patch it or update it I'll come back to it later. "Edit" Apparently the glitch was fixed. I do hope some of the other issues with the game will be fixed later on. I'll rebuy it once it goes on sale again, if…

Look, I like star fox 64 as much as the next person. I want more of that. And I see ALOT of potential in this game. But, things just move too fast in this game. My charecter moves too fast, the second level is confusing, and moves too fast. I see alot of good in it, but it is just too fast for me.
