About Breeze of Ashes

The Skies Are Your Battlefield. The Core Is Your Prize.

Take flight in a world of floating empires and relentless aerial warfare. Breeze of Ashes puts you at the helm of massive, modular airships in a strategic struggle for dominance. This isn't just about fast reflexes—it’s about the fantasy of command: building a specialized fleet, mastering deep tactical layers, and choosing between a dozen ways to conquer the horizon.
Whether you’re optimizing a peaceful colony or orchestrating a high-stakes siege, every choice you make echoes through the clouds.

Master the Skies: A New Breed of Strategy

Experience the "Lane Pusher" reimagined for the strategic commander. Forget simple units; here, you command Capital Ships that act as your primary instruments of war. Stack modular engines and auto-firing batteries to turn your flagship into an impenetrable fortress or a long-range glass cannon. Your objective: navigate shifting winds and terrain to shatter the enemy core before they can dismantle yours.

Quick Start: Tactical Precision Under Pressure

No time to waste. Some maps provide an immediate budget to deploy your initial base and starting flight-wing. In this phase, construction is instant—but the timer is relentless. Make your choices quickly, establish your perimeter, and prepare for the storm.

The Campaigns: Two Paths, One Empire

Your leadership will be tested across two distinct, persistent progression systems:
  • The Grand Campaign: Conquer the clouds province by province. Develop your empire through three unique tracks, including a dedicated Victory Track, and use faction-specific cards to tip the scales of massive aerial battles.
  • The Convoy Campaign: A high-stakes survival run. You must balance the growth of your fleet with the safety of your colony. Will you weaken your army by assigning troops to lifeboats to save your people? Unlock permanent technologies that stay with you across runs—even if your current fleet falls.

The Colony: Your Strategic Sanctuary

Even a commander needs a safe harbor. Grow your colony on floating islands by constructing buildings with specialized roles. With a unique "charge" system for expansion and the ability to deconstruct buildings to improve the land, this is your space to focus on pure efficiency without the pressure of the front lines.

Face the Titans: Custom Boss Battles

Challenge yourself against behemoths of the sky. In this dedicated mode, the entire map works against you. Rush the boss for a quick kill or methodically dismantle their production facilities. Design your own boss using the in-game tools, then upload it to the leaderboard to see if other players can survive your creation.

Key Features

  • Aerial Lane-Pushing: Strategic objectives met with modular, customizable capital airships.
  • Persistent Progression: Two massive campaigns with meaningful, long-term empire growth.
  • Colony Management: A peaceful, "safe space" mode for builders and optimizers.
  • Global Leaderboards: Create and share custom boss encounters with the community.
  • Singleplayer Focus: Deep solo play with integrated Multiplayer support.

Is This Game for You?

Breeze of Ashes is for players who love seeing complex systems click together. If you enjoy strategic planning, stacking buffs, and making high-stakes choices under pressure, you will find your home in these clouds.Note: If you are looking for a twitch-heavy action game or a traditional micromanagement-heavy RTS, this may not be the right fit. This is a game for the tacticians.

✦ AI summary

Players praise this tactical strategy game for its deep, complex mechanics centered on unit management and ship spawning systems, along with its nostalgic appeal and excellent soundtrack. The game demands genuine strategic thinking and exploration to master, though some report minor movement bugs and note that it prioritizes gameplay over fancy graphics. Prospective buyers should be aware this is a hardcore tactics experience rather than a visual showcase.

Hey fellow tacticians, The game is something for explorers. It really is about fInding out how mechanics work and how to respond to opponents and their strategy in order to beat them. A bite like AoE but more complex and unit focused with ships being able to spawn different smaller ships with different traits. I did not yet figure out how the whole system works. But I am on it. Really gIves me nostalgic vibes in a new format. I encountered some minor bugs with movement if not centered on the units. I also like the soundtrack very much. If you are only in 4k super fancy effects and graphics however, I would however watch some videos first. As already mentioned it is focused on tactics and strategy. I can recommend if you are up for a real challange! Support this new developer!
