[h1]IN SPACE, NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCRAWL[/h1] Orbiting the gaping mouth of a black hole in the depths of space, [i]No Signal[/i] is a personal and emotionally resonant tale of isolation. It's one part hidden object game, one part puzzler and one part walking (floating?) sim. The ambition behind this solo-dev project is admirable, and it executes its vision almost flawlessly. [b]BUT:[/b] There are few times when I would say that there's an objectively 'right' way to play a game, however this is one of those times. [list] [*]You [i]will[/i] need to take notes for puzzles. Information you find in one room will come in useful much later on, and it's vital to have a reference to go back to. [*]Puzzles [i]can[/i] be brute forced, and it's especially tempting to do so if you don't have the notes to refer to a required code, but it makes the experience less rewarding. I found myself having to spreadsheet all the places I'd visited later on to determine where I'd found items, and wish I'd started doing so sooner. Really fun and creative point-and-click puzzle game with a heartfelt story hidden in the messages left behind by the crew. It's one of the games that has made me use my brain the most accross multiple different styles of puzzles. I need more <3

Extremely fun puzzle game. Loved the simplicity of the graphics in creating a unique atmosphere. The ending is also extremely cool visually and I certainly will be returning to this game to 100% it!

I did not understand what I was getting into when I picked this up -- even after playing through the demo. I figured there would be layers, but I got a bit caught up in the relatively simple puzzles and didn't catch on to the bigger story until a bit later. Take notes (by hand, even), and you'll have a better understanding of when you need to backtrack and what's left to be solved. I myself had to backtrack several times to find relevant messages I *kinda* remembered, and then forgot why I had hunted them down. I thoroughly enjoyed the ending -- both as a final, overarching puzzle and as a narrative. [spoiler]When I started moving and heard the character's footsteps, I knew it was going to be good.[/spoiler]

I loved the puzzle solving in this game. Gathering clues from different rooms and finding hidden items throughout the rooms always got me curious to look in the tiniest of places. The story was well crafted giving me ideas about the crew members and how each of them were before leaving the ship. In the end the spirit was no longer alone and managed to make contact, which made the story end on a wholesome note and not on a lonely sad note. Which was nice :) The only gripe I had was the music room where to unlock the box I had to play the piano. Of which I had to look up in the steam community section for clues on how to solve it. In the game for me there was no clear way on how to unlock the box. Other than that it was a puzzle filled, story telling game that I extremely enjoyed :) The demo itself had just enough content to make me buy the full game. Now that I like!
