Decent game to play when u simply want to chill out. You can give it easily for your younger siblings or children to play and they will enjoy it and also might provide some educational value for them. + Artstyle + Music + Theme - i wish it could be a little bit longer - no option to adjust volume levels inside of game (really only flaw here)2 found this helpful
Jack Barau is a poetic little gem. You play as a pirate petrel bird trying to rescue your lost baby brothers on a stylized version of Réunion Island. The gameplay mixes flying, light-dodging, and escorting rescued chicks to safety while collecting messages in bottles. It’s lighthearted but surprisingly educational, touching on how urban lights confuse real-life petrels, often leading to their death. The humor, art style, and short but replayable levels make this great for adults and kids alike. I finished the full game in one sitting (around 2.5 hours), and while £11 might be a bit steep, the quality of the game and the message on endangered petrels make it worthwhile. 🎨 Gorgeous hand-drawn art 🎮 Solid 2D platforming 📚 Great replay value if you want all the stars/messages Would love to see this game get more attention. Fun Concept and straight forward gameplay. A great buffer in between other games.
Jack Barau is a good game but it can get really hard to navigate. 7/10
