### YOU ARE THE MONSTER — A Chaotic and Surprisingly Fun Monster Rampage **YOU ARE THE MONSTER** is a wonderfully chaotic game that lets you experience the city from the other side — **you’re the monster, and the city is your playground.** One of the most entertaining parts of the game is simply roaming around and seeing just how much destruction you can cause. With different monster types to play as, each creature brings its own abilities, strengths, and style of causing mayhem. Whether you prefer smashing through buildings, chasing down terrified civilians, or simply causing absolute chaos in the streets, there’s plenty of fun to be had. The destruction itself is incredibly satisfying. Watching a previously peaceful city quickly turn into a disaster zone as you rampage through it gives the game a fantastic sense of freedom. There’s something oddly entertaining about having **no responsibility to save the city — because you’re the reason it needs saving!** The variety of monsters also helps keep things interesting. This is exactly what I have been hoping for in a game. Its a beautiful concept and i want more! Only problem is though, its still buggy and has crashed twice in my first hour of playing. I look forward to the continued development of this game! If that's the case, Ill definitely come back to this game later for sure!

saw the game on a stream and thought it looked cool. concept is there, but imagine playing a game you see in the background a movie but the only gameplay is the 2 minute max loop of gameplay you see in the background, thats this game. sure you can run around and eat people, break some things and "evolve" but its just to get to the same point of doing the same thing over and over again just with a slightly larger character model and no actual progression or end goal. at least with other games theres some sort of incentive to do repetative runs of the same exact scenario, but with this game there just isnt, its more or less the game you see in an ad for a mobile game except you have to pay for it. developer appears to have also more or less abanonded the game so i absolutely would not recommend picking it up unless an update comes out which seems doubutful at this point.

To start off, it’s very fun and has a lot of potential. The destruction and the sense of power feel great, although most of the buildings aren’t destructible yet. The developers are likely adding more later. Right now, only small and medium-sized buildings can be destroyed once you’re big enough or deal enough AOE damage. The monsters themselves are unique and each has a little origin story on the selection screen. It isn’t much, but it’s a nice touch. The abilities are pretty fun, and they gain more damage or range when you upgrade them, which helps keep your damage and survivability up as enemy get harder and deal more damage to you. Which is especially important in Endless, where after a while even the police start dealing decent damage to you after you get to around level 150 on easy and even lower on harder dificulty settings. Destruction currently only seems to work on small and medium buildings, and there are still a lot of medium buildings that don’t have destruction physics yet. I suspect that will be fixed later. For now, it’s still fun to watch them crumble after an AOE attack, or after an enemy mortar destroys its own stuff. A good strategy is to bait a mortar into st…

i like the idea of the game it would be cool of each monster had a cool backstory or a seperate origin story and each monster had its own intro animation instead of them just spawing in also i think there is a bug where i get stuck all the time and i cant move which cuases me to lose also it would be pretty cool if we could climb the building aswell
