The gameplay is a little bit repetitive but if you enjoy the Alien storyline you'll love this game. For the pricepoint it is worth the play-through.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Evolved Edition Review I’ll be completely honest, I don’t think this game is worth its original asking price. For an *Alien* game, I was surprised by how little actual horror there is. There were virtually no moments that genuinely scared me, the enemies quickly stopped feeling threatening, and I can’t remember any particularly effective jump scares or moments of real tension. The atmosphere is probably the strongest part, it has that dark, isolated, slightly creepy *Alien* feel, and the graphics are decent enough, but atmosphere alone wasn’t enough to carry the game for me. The story was also pretty forgettable. I never became particularly invested in the characters or what was happening, and eventually I reached the point where I was playing simply because I wanted to finish it and move on to something else. Combat and encounters also start feeling repetitive fairly quickly. Once you understand how the enemies behave, a lot of the tension disappears and they become more of an inconvenience than something you’re genuinely afraid of. That’s probably my biggest problem with the game overall, everything just feels a little cheap and uninspired. Nothing i…

Decent ambiance and really cool to play Zula and to have discussions with her Android, it is super fun to play this character for what feels like a small project the overall narrative aspect is nice. BUT And could have been sooooo much better with more encounters of NPCs. What a solitary and poor creative choice. While I understand the budget reasons behind this, it feels like a massive part of the immersion is missing because of the fact that you are ALONE most of the game. It is so weird to do a Narrative Linear game with NO-One to talk to. The game could have been great, if not amazing, if it was not for the repetitive level art choices (level design is ok except the lack of POIs: the vessel layout is almost always the same rooms same terminals same crates and lockers...No surprises no loot fun at ALL. Please play Resident Evil if you want to make a fun survival horror game. All of that feel like a very boring run... (As an Atari Jaguar Alien Predator fan I believe this could have been almost as good if it was not for the repetitive aspect of each levels. What to say about the desastrous limited arsenal inventory, no crafting, in 2026 it is impossible to ship with that kind…

Game finished - Review Complete Elephant in the room: Before you go on to the good and the bad, the elephant in the room. The developers who made this game have been disbanded. That means that a sequel will not happen apart from them. And even if it did, since the developer team aren't the IP holders, the sequel would not be the same. I knew this about the game going in, but I had no idea just how bad the cliff hanger was. Once that trophy popped I was like, "ah." It's not that it's a bad cliff hanger, it's just that it's a cliff hanger in the truest sense of the word. Do I still think it's worth a play? Yes. A very fun game. The good: The graphics are solid, not great. Gunplay is fairly simple and it's very reminiscent of Alien: Isolation over all, gameplay wise. But the firefighting kind of reminded me of Aliens: Colonial Marines to where it seems like your bullets aren't doing anything and the Xeno's just kind of explode. The documentations you read really builds the world around you and is a joy to go through and find. Video diaries are spread throughout and enjoyable to listen to as well. The game has amazing atmosphere. When I first stepped out onto the planet of Purdan…

Slow paced mixture between AVP1 Marine Mission and Alien Isolation. Fantastic graphics (I'm able to play with raytracing) and deep atmosphere. Scope is small, don't await AVP 3, but if you like dark base corridors within the alien universe, you should have a good time.
