Alien: Rogue Incursion VR

I loved playing this game. It was so intense at time. I'm 58 and at times it would scare the living crap out of me. At times it was so in tense that it kelp my hart racing. I have played a lot of games and never felt that way with any game. So if your a fan of the Alien movies you will love this game.

YOU CAN SAFELY IGNORE THIS. - To pause the game, there are community steam input bindings you can grab to map pausing to a double click of the stick, or pause the game with the bottom corner of the PDA pad. The game functions as expected other than this. --------- Rogue Incursion is NOT Alien Isolation in VR, and doesn't attempt to be with the range of offensive items you have. What it does give you is the power fantasy of a single marine trying to infiltrate an abandoned, infested base as a last resort. The game design takes more queues from Resident Evil than Isolation, featuring an expansive base to explore, find new tools, backtrack, and manage your items and ammo that you'll find as you play. Normal difficulty gives you plenty to take on most threats with relative ease as long as you can react fast enough and land your shots, or plan ahead with strategic setups of motion trackers, grenades, and choke points to cover an area while you handle a task. This game is badass, beautiful graphics, smooth intense heart pounding gameplay. This is like being in the movie with creepy corridors, 80's tech and common sense puzzles. I love it!

This is probably the most intense VR game I have ever played. Too bad they cancelled the sequel. I much prefer this to the isolation sneaking around. It's a nonstop adrenaline rush. The Aliens are intense. I use the Galaxy XR for this title and a 5090 everything is maxed out and looks great. My only negatives are the Galaxy XR controllers aren't the most accurate and throwing grenades are challenging. Otherwise, this is an excellent game.

The controls are a little jank, but that expected when you need any amount of precision in VR. Overall, it's a good story in the Alien U that doesn't interfere with any of the established lore of any film or major game title.

One of the best vr-games, very tense atmosphere through all game and thanks to AI-aliens on insane difficulty increased replaying value!
