A violation of pixel graphics, feels bad to play, lacks basic options. First time I ever refunded a game on Steam. Don't want this in my library, lol.

Way too difficult for the sake of it especially the last area

How to make a badly designed metroidvania : - Make a non interactible map so that you don't know where you are at all times - Make sure the player can go where he wants but not quite because he needs powerups, but don't indicate in any way where to find said powerups - Ensure you have some hard to navigate zones with nothing at the end but a "Sorry, you don't have the necessary powerup to continue, come back later !". Double points if you put another one of those gates when the player comes back there with the first powerup (Hello Ruins !) - Give a glimpse of collectibles everywhere where the player doesn't have the powerup yet. Not a new zone, or even a challenging room. No, just the collectible behind a powerup wall, in plain sight, to force the player to backtrack, again and again. Of course, with no way to indicate where it is, why would you help your player with that ? And as a separate grief, the movement is floaty and troublesome with inertia. Apart from that, it's an OK game, on the challenging side but not too hard, there's even fast travel (but you first need the map ... Hello Ruins !)
