I'll always support indie devs chasing their dream. Keep up the good work. Just need to patch a couple things. Unfortunately, I got stuck in the game and can not continue. There is a moon-stone to my left that I cannot open, and a spike pit to the right that I cannot jump over. I do not have dash or wall-jump abilities. Tried to remap my controller, and broke the mapping completely. I will not be able to play again until these things are fixed, or some walkthrough educates me.

The gameplay delivers strong entertainment. Exploring the world features no maps, yet remembering pathways feels far easier compared to Salt and Sacrifice. Handcrafted pixel art and deep metroidvania mechanics create a highly engaging adventure. Discovering hidden secrets and evolving character builds keeps roguelike progression feeling fresh. Reaching multiple endings offers great replay value. AI usage during development may spark online debate, but the actual experience remains the central focus. Core mechanics function flawlessly and provide steady enjoyment.

Besides having to remap the controller buttons every time, there is a potential for a soft lock early on in the game, before double jump is acquired. Also, wall jump is not clearly granted as an ability, it just seems to become available at some point. These feel like things that should have been sorted out before releasing the game.

I had a less-than-ideal time on this game in my playthrough due to a technical issue at the end that prevented completion. The dev reached out to me with more info, and I'm going to hold off and give the game another chance after the next update.
