Cool game

absolutely excellent. beautiful atmosphere, it really reminds me of something but i can't place my finger on it. it's almost combined vibes of backrooms, some SCPs, onyx from the halo universe, and some cosmic horror that cannot be named. the only problem i have with this game is that it's too short! it took me about 2 hours to finish, although i know there's more to explore and see.

A short, concise romp through a truly dour and colossal megastructure. Admittedly, I do not feel as the asking price of $6 is worth it. But on a sale as deep as a dollar, it is easily worth that. As for critique, enemy variety (if you can call it that) was poor. Only 2 real enemy types the entire game. The platforming was decent and very reminiscent of Half Life. The story, while interesting, does not truly come into play until the very end, with little tidbits of lore every now and again between start and finish. If this game was much longer and had time and budget to flesh itself out, especially story-wise, I think it would be a cult classic. But for what it is; it is Good.

Is good

Metal Garden proves that you don’t need ultra-realistic graphics to create a captivating world. The minimalist style looks clean, and the shooting is satisfying. I loved the megastructures and the loneliness of this world. The only subjective downside: I wish it were longer. I support indie developers who put their heart and soul into their games.
