This game isn't for those who want to experience hope [spoiler]and happy endings.[/spoiler] It's a tragic, beautiful, and heartwrenching story about The Creature and honestly? I was a big fan of it, even if I cried rivers while playing. I understand why the story goes on like this, I did, but it still kicked me in the feels every single time. The soundtrack, I think, is what continues to bring me back to this game. It's beautiful, capturing, and so beautiful. I do agree that some puzzles make so sense and are too vague, which disrupted by experiences quite a bit when I was replaying it to see different endings, but otherwise? It was an enjoyable casual game for 1-2 runs. It does stay with me to this day.

A short narrative game. Loved it! The story has a bit more depth if you're familiar with the original material, but it can be understood without having read it. Controls are somewhat clunky, but by the time I realized that I was already hooked with the story, narrative and art to really care about it. Play it in one sitting if you can and try go in blind.

Frankenstein's Creature by Mary Shelley has a pure tragic life (or afterlife ?). He was 'born' and sent to the world against his will, with a disturbing body and face, created by pieces of different corpses, like a patchwork sewn by Victor Frankenstein. Feared by everyone while his heart and soul are pure and profoundly kind. Every humans he meets see only his face, his physical features, not his kindness and craving for love and acceptance, joy, peace, knowledge, art... The 'Creature' is an angel sent to Earth to witness the evil in humans (especially in men, as women can relate to his experiences and sufferings, but this is another topic). This amazing game shows us every tragic aspects of the novel and makes it obvious, for, maybe, the few people who weren't understanding that the 'Creature' is the true innocent victim of the heartbreaking story, created by Mary Shelley in 1818. The musics, the graphics and colors reflecting the 'Creature' mental states and emotions... My heart broke while reading the original novel, my heart broke when watching some cinema adaptations, my heart broke while reading essays and understanding the multiple meanings of this story and characters... …

Truly a beautiful game from start to finish. Incredibly tragic and very much in line with the orginal book. [spoiler] No happy endings for our poor Creature here though sadly. [/spoiler] I'm a HUGE Frankenstein fan and I found this game so very enjoyable, it's artwork, music and writing is lovely and while I agree that some of the puzzles can be a bit confusing, it didn't take away from the gameplay too much for me. [spoiler] Rarely do I find that adding Mary Shelley as a character into a story about Frankenstein actually working and not coming off as a bit too on the nose but it does really work here and I got really emotional. [/spoiler] Well worth it if you're a Frankenstein fan! And even if you're not, you may find yourself walking away one after playing this :-]

I loved the story, the artwork, the music, the character, and everything about this game.
