Setting:
Set in the same world as Test of Courage and Born Into Fear, you’ll assume the role of Victor Cortes as you investigate the signs of a potential Buffer at the abandoned, underwater Aegis facility, Phorcys Station. There’s much more going on than meets the eye. Your organization has heard rumors that a cult-like group has moved into the installation. If you want to succeed in your mission of finding, Lila, you’ll need to search for the Buffer and uncover the secrets of the Children of Joy.

- Drone Companion: A Drone will serve as your flashlight and can highlight interactable objects using Enlightened Vision. It’ll also speak to you at times.

I played this game right after finishing the free prologue. Much like the developer's other games that share the "buffer" theme, I really appreciated the freedom to roam and explore while carrying out missions and tasks. I do not get why this developer's games are not well known.
OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS AMAZING. I had so much fun playing this game all the way through. The setting, the atmosphere, the missions! The horror, the chase, the mystery! This game was absolutely beautiful all the way around. I'd recommend for any sci-fi or horror fan for sure, well worth the full price, but it's typically on sale for cheaper. I enjoyed this game. The story, way it was told and clear objectives made the game fun to dive into. The story kept me on edge and unsure who to trust which drew me in, wanting to untangle the confusion and mystery. I screamed three times. Each time wondering if I needed to let my neighbors know I was okay. Jump scares got me good. The side quests were fun, allowing for exploring station further. The style and music added to the comfort and ease of the station with the added unease and emptiness. Great voice acting ranges as well - it brought the souls to life - added feeling and connection. Thank you for making this game. Beautiful.
Just Sauce Studio got off with this one, i enjoy the atmosphere of this game, the graphics in the environment made me feel at home from the start. Our mission is clear, but how the story unfolds is beautiful and every conversation i engaged on was a memorable one. The jump-scares were getting me at times even if i expected them but that just made the game that much better. I believe this developer will just keep getting better as they have the Secret Sauce. I'm looking forward to play the rest of their catalog, and enjoy every one of those adventures specially the ones related to the Buffer series. I recommend this game as a must play, Thanks Just Sauce Studio.
I'm really loving the Buffer universe, it's nice to have a refreshing story for once. I still don't fully understand the Buffers but I guess that's sort of the point, I look forward to the next game
Pact of Joy was a great game - I actually played the Prologue first despite the full game being out already. I am a fan of Just Sauce Studio and will check out their other games. I'd say the Prologue had some great memorable moments, The full version of the game was fun and had it's moments as well. The length of the full game was just right though I felt it could have had more interaction with the monsters. Overall would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys sci-fi and horror!
