Obscurity: Unknown Threat

Runs at 120 fps on 10 year old pc on medium setting, extremely well polished and optmised title on release absolutely amazing jobs by devs, reminds me of old school fps games where the gameplay came before anything else, barely scratched the surface of content available, would recommend to any fps enjoyers like myself 100% worth the price getting it at 25% launch discount is no brainer.

feels like indie cod version, in a good way. obscurity mode is cool tho. needs more work in terms of bots ai and weapon handling but it does feel like project with soul and i believe devs will make this game better! if possible, please look into procedural animations, i.e. gta's euphoria like :)

The game runs well and with a good assortment of weapons so far for early access. The gunplay is fairly polished and makes for a good FPS, has challenges to do and has progression towards weapons and classes. A fun game to play and one to keep an eye on in early access

Have been playing the game via playtests for a while now. The early access version cleaned up some of the already fun gameplay while adding a new mode. Game is a mishmash of classic FPS modes, plus the namesake Obscurity mode, which is reminiscent of The Hidden sourcemod in gameplay(one person plays a near invisible murderhobo with superpowers while everyone else tries to not die/kill the murderhobo). The new mode is a random mission generator ala Soldier of Fortune 2: pick your gamemode, map, objectives, difficulty, and other variables, then go murdering(optionally with friends!). Game has competent enough bots(they WILL shoot you dead if you give them the chance, but aren't the smartest cookies when it comes to target acqusition), a bunch of singleplayer support, and a two man devteam interested in continuously working on it. Will run on a daisychain of potatoes while still having enough visual candy at higher settings for nicer PCs. Decent little game here, it feels like something out of the late 2000's which I really like. The gameplay is sort in the middle of an arcade shooter and tactical shooter. You're sort of spongy but at the same time fragile in a way. if you take enough damage you can start bleeding, lose your gun, be unable to stand up or even aim down sights properly which is something that I don't think I've ever seen in a game before The combat feels visceral: its responsive and brutal. The bots are really challenging or maybe I just suck (which may be mostly likely the case but still). The dev team it's literally just 2 guys and they still somehow managed to pull an early access that feels quite polished and very well optimised. The game is a bit thin in terms of content for the time being, still considering the extremely small team and the state the game currently finds itself at I feel like it just needs a community support to back this project up. The devs are clearly trying to do as best as they can with the limited resources that they have and so far the end result is quite impressive for just 2 guys working on a project like this.
