About 100 hidden Cthulhu fish

100 hidden Cthulhu fish is a hidden objects/ clicker game.
The game is loosely inspired by motifs from the world created by H. P. Lovecraft, decorated with hand-drawn humorous graphics.
There are 100 fish hiding on each map. Your task is to find them all. There are four maps in total, which gives a total of 400 fish to find (wow!).
There are many games in which we look for hidden cats, but have you ever looked for the grotesque fish that Cthulhu himself hid?

Bought this on sale, mostly because the art intrigued me. I did get to look at pictures, so that's cool. It's basically what it says on the tin. There are fish. There are 100 of them in each image. They are not particularly well hidden, though. It took about 20 minutes to find 400 fish. The background music, which I assume is royalty free, is poppy, upbeat, and very repetitive. It'd be a fine choice for another hidden object game, probably, but it really doesn't fit the subject matter of this one. When you click a fish it gets highlighted in green. On some, it's very obvious that the colour was lazily painted on and overlaid. It doesn't affect anything, but it's just another indicator that there wasn't much thought or effort put into anything besides the main art pieces. Speaking of, some fish seem to have been placed on the art after the fact, rather than drawn on the original. Again, fine mechanically, but jarring, visually. Overall, I'd rather just print the pictures and colour them in with my nieces.
5/10 Challenge is a 0/10. I enjoy the sketches, the traditional pen like art is my favorite to draw and look at. My only issue is how easy this game is. I think this would be 9/10 coloring book idea, but as a puzzle game it is disappointing.
I really enjoyed this game! The artwork looks great, the music is relaxing, and the game is very fun to play. Also, I really like that there are four levels. I definitely recommend this game!
