Warning: Asset Flip! 3D PUZZLE - OutPost is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of generic industrial assets from the Unity Asset Store and dumped them on a really first person hidden object game template, something this Russian asset flipper has done dozens of times now, endless shovelware pollution with fake reviews. Hede didn't test this one, however, it has missing objects, textures, and you just fall through the …

This is not a game - it's a broken, sad asset flip with fake positive reviews and scam pricing. First off, the game has no resolution options and launches in fullscreen. 4k support is broken - part of the screen is cut off... and you're forced to use the native screen resolution. You can use the Unity shortcut (ALT + ENTER) to go into windowed mode, but still can't change the resolution so it's useless. There is no tutorial or even a hint as to what on Earth you're meant to be doing besides what's shown in the trailer. Not that it really matters, considering there isn't even anything to do. The levels are empty - besides the random placing of Unity assets and rotating squares. The only objects with collision are (some of) the orange planes, everything else you can just walk right through. If you walk through a non-solid part, you'll fall into the void and the level won't even automatically restart. Trying to pickup objects and place them in the transparent areas like in the trailer doesn't work. None of the positive reviews on this page are real - they're all paid Russian reviewers. If you noti…

I don't understand who is buying this game. I got this game for free from a giveaway and decided to just try it out and see what a AAAAA priced video game would be like. Well this game is worse than every other game that has come out from this publisher or developer. YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE GAME CORRECTLY. Problems that I found: - You can't even pick up object to move them!!! (Which is all this game is) - There is collision problems with the game so you can easily walk through walls and out of bounds. - I think that some of the placements for objects would be impossible to get to due to the floor having no collision - You can very easily get out of bounds in this game - On Windows, the assets are broken!! (just look at the screenshots for the game!) - Since you can't even play the game, achievements are also broken I actually tried this game on Steam Deck and it actually works better there but you still are incapable of actually playing the game. Just avoid this company and it's games at all cost. They aren't worth the price of $200 USD and it isn't even worth the price of $1 USD. Do not, I repeat DO NOT get this game on sale. It isn't worth the storage that this game takes up…

3D PUZZLE – OutPost is a deliberately stripped-down puzzle experience that revolves around a single, clearly defined idea: restoring a broken environment by finding scattered objects and placing them back where they belong. Developed by PUZZLE Games and published by Hede, the game does not attempt to dress this concept up with storylines, characters, or complex mechanics. Instead, it presents itself as a calm, utilitarian activity where progress is measured visually, as an empty or incomplete outpost slowly transforms into a fully assembled space through your actions. From the beginning, the game establishes its routine with minimal instruction. You are placed inside a 3D outpost environment and encouraged to explore freely, searching for missing components such as structures, props, or environmental details. Each object can be picked up and carried to a designated placement point, usually indicated clearly so there is little ambiguity about where it belongs. Once placed correctly, the object locks into position, providing immediate visual feedback and a small sense of accomplishment. This loop repeats until the environment is fully reconstructed, making the experience feel more l…
