This is obviously a 'first game' for someone, so I don't want to be too harsh. It's not great though. The controls are mad. Move with WASD, aim shots with directional keys, fire with space. Trigger you recharging special beam with 2. I streamlined all of this by assigning things to a controller, but built in, you're stuck with whatever that mish mash of inputs is. There are four stages. The game tracks how many enemies you kill and how many lives you lose, cumulatively. When you beat the final stage though and roll credits, the game just freezes and needs to be closed completely to play again. The game doesn't retain score, or kill count or progress when it resets. The game 'installs' itself every times its booted. I played through the game 3 times to get a perfect clear, without losing a life. I don't know why. It took 45 minutes.
