About 60 Second Strike

A shooter you can play for minutes or hours at a time, 60 Second Strike offers a refreshing new take on classic old-school gameplay. When time is your life, how long can you last?

- THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE: Defeat enemies and gather crystals to gain more time, but beware--the more damage you take, the less time you'll have left.

- A SIMPLE GOAL WITH INFINITE APPROACHES: With procedurally generated maps offering countless challenges across multiple modes, the action only stops when you do.

- UPGRADE AND CUSTOMIZE YOUR LOADOUT: Mix skill and strategy to hone your personal gameplay style, and keep the odds ever in your favor by permanently upgrading your weapons and ship.

- THE NEED FOR SPEED: A custom game engine allows for unprecedented speed to get you in the game as soon as possible--you'll be playing before most other games have even booted.

- NO REST FOR THE WICKED: 60 Second Strike is the debut release from Amplecti Chao, a one-person indie outfit with over a decade of industry experience including the Destroy All Humans! and Borderlands series.

Graphically, it's very basic. Controls seem to be overly sensitive at times. Is it fun ? Not particularly, mainly because the graphics are so basic.

Poor poly graphics. Levels look exactly the same. Movement is slow. Navigation system is horrible. This is a total waste of time and money.

I've played a fair bit of this game and I have to say it is the most addictive, frustrating and satisfying experience you can get. Every round lasts about 2 minutes or so (if you're lucky!). The pacing is intense and just takes the experience to a whole new level when you finally punch that reactor thing out at the end of the level. I dare you to find another game that excites, frustrates and makes you feel like a god, all in about 60 seconds! I did a playthrough of the game for an episode of Indiecent Exposure if you want to check out the gameplay but you really don't need to. It's a simple fun and absolutely amazing game that deserves a purchase! SO GET IT! HYPNOTOAD WANTS YOU TO!

I really like this game. It throws away the concept of high detail graphics an common shooter conventions and hones in on what it claims to be. A fast paced romp through a colourfull world. It could've done a bit more with the procedural aspect of the game. ( I normally just run through everything to the main arena where the most of the enemies are) Still the controls are good and the enemies are a plenty. Well worth the price tag if this sounds remotely like your type of thing. PS: Steam doesn't seem to register the time you play offline, so I'll just note that I've played about 2 hours of this game at the time of writing this review.

Here is my review I'm doing in 60 seconds, LOL. This game is OK, but really for only certain people who absolutely LOVE crazy fast paced gameplay! Too fast for most people including me. You race and fight against a timer. If you love to be timed on your combats, then this is the game for you (crazy you)! 3 out of 5 stars or 6 out of 10, but still I'm not recommending this to most people. Looks awesome at least. I got 60 second strike for FREE, and finally here is my 2 cents the dev(s) deserve (and the Steam community). Brutally honest. It's unique, but just not my type of game being 41 years old and slowing down just a bit in life (on meds 2, so that doesn't help).

60 Second Strike is a very low effort, low quality FPS game. The levels are all repetitive, with the same textures repeated over and over. To make up for the lack of content and graphics, the developer slapped a time limit on each level to make it a "survival" game. Really, this is just a low effort cash grab and should be avoided. 60 Second Strike, but less than 60 seconds worth of gameplay.
