a game so good you wish you could write 4 positive reviews for it. the design and polish is immaculate. oozing with influence, an arcade score system. there is really nothing negative I can say. paulo lopes is surely out there doing great things, whether that is intercourse with his partner or making more games, he is either instantly hired somewhere big or leading a charge somewhere else. the immediate influence I felt was virtua cop style threat system, stay in line of sight long enough and you will get hit, deal with the threat or lose line of sight quickly and I don't know if I want to credit trespasser with free aim because there are other examples but its possible it was the first. according to the giant bomb thing I found about this game I guess it was a cheat closer to release but once things finalized it looks like its now a menu option. I turned it on because I love free aim but it does make the game quite a bit harder, there is an aiming ability when using free aim akin to goldeneye, plants you and you get a cursor crosshair to move around. game is probably a bit easier with free aim off. if I were to complain it would be that this game never got some basic infinite st…1 found this helpful

"All Day Dying: Redux Edition" is a mediocre low poly minimalist 3D FPS without any story or plot... instead, with a more arcade type goal, you speedrun and score attack through various badly rendered enemies using a variety of weapons and chaining together attacks. Why? There's actually no reason why, and the low quality implementation and directionless design lead this to fail. The visual presentation here is low poly minimalism - a style that sounds considered but in practice means sparse geometry, near-absent detail, and no real artistic ambition. It's the kind of look that results from not having the skills or budget for real 3D art, and then rebranding the limitation as intentional. Contemporary PC gaming sets a high visual bar, and this falls well short of it. This game is fairly dated at 7 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. …
Do you like the idea of an FPS where every gun has non-resetting carpal tunnel inducing upward knockback off the clunkiest projectile weapons imaginable under the clunkiest movement ever designed against hordes of utterly incomprehensible hitscan perfect enemies that require you to be fast and aggressive without getting near them while being forced to use mostly mid to close range weapons with random spread less you get instantly killed in as little as one hit? Then this piece of ♥♥♥♥ is stinking up your alley.
