'신기록 : A Compendium of Ghosts' is a role-playing game based on the webtoon of the same name.
Sang returns home as a fully fledged hunter. On his way, he gets caught up in a very strange event. You have to accompany him on his journey to gather clues and puzzle out what is going on.

Игра '신기록 : A Compendium of Ghosts' – это завораживающий визуальный роман, сотканный из корейской мифологии и щемящей истории о потере и принятии. Атмосфера пропитана таинственностью и меланхолией, а прекрасно нарисованные спрайты персонажей и детализированные задники переносят нас в потусторонний мир духов и призраков. Сюжет, хоть и не отличается головокрутительными поворотами, цепляет своей эмоциональностью и заставляет сопереживать главному герою, который пытается разобраться в своем прошлом и найти покой в настоящем. Особенно хочется отметить музыкальное сопровождение, которое идеально дополняет визуальную составляющую и создает неповторимую атмосферу. Выбор в диалогах влияет на концовку, что добавляет реиграбельности. Единственным минусом можно считать небольшую продолжительность, хочется ещё больше погрузиться в этот магический мир и узнать больше о его обитателях. В целом, игра оставляет после себя приятное послевкусие и рекомендуется всем любителям визуальных новелл и корейской культуры.

RPG Maker strikes again! 신기록 : A Compendium of Ghosts is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is a rather crap Korean JRPG (how does that work? Who knows, RPG Maker enables the creation of plenty of awful things). It's light on RPG and heavy on cringey high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing, which will (and did) further deter gamers. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development.
