A Completely Fictional Story About a City Inside a Whale

really charming and creative game! a beautifully drawn city to explore and a bunch of side quests to do, but the gameplay never gets tedious. the boat having unique (but intuitive) steering mechanics definitely adds to the exploration experience. it doesn’t feel too slow going and is supplemented by fast travel, so no complaints there. overall, from the characters to the soundtrack to the hat collection, there’s so much to enjoy in Whaleville, and i’m looking forward to my next playthrough! a really nice love letter to A Short Hike :)

If all you are looking for vibes this game will serve you well. If you are looking for good gameplay, this game isn't for you. I'm pretty patient and I still found the game to be very boring if not grating to play. Considering there are so many good games out right now, especially cozy games, I just can't be bothered to play anymore.

I found the game charming however controls the boat with mouse & keyboard were at time frustrating the spin up to accelerate was more frustration that it was worth a simple press X to go would have been fine also dragging and dropping as well as clicking to interface needs work but a small team you could tell there was passion there I hope the team learn and hones their skills I'll be ready for what they have next!
