Experience a historical Polish palace
A Day in the Palace is a historical visual novel where the player's choices drive the story. You play as Peter and Marysia, newly arrived siblings at the palace in Lidzbark Warminski in 1772. Here you must learn to navigate the court, perform servant duties, and finally solve a mystery regarding a missing silver spoon. Talk to the servants of the palace to get hints that let you catch the culprit. The game's backdrop and story are based on historical sources.
Choose your game mode
There are two different modes of play. The novel mode is a longer visual novel combined with interactive minigames. The minigames include polishing pewter, lighting a fireplace with flint and steel, and making hot chocolate in 1700s fashion. The minigame mode features a shorter story with more emphasis on the minigames and is suitable for a younger audience.

It's short but amazing Visual Novel which stands out from the rest with It's unique visuals and minigames that We don't really see that much in Visual Novels. The setting of the game which is Poland is something I didn't really see either when I learnt about Baroque Era when I was still at school cause Czech Baroque Era was more dark. There were large numbers of Czechs going to exile cause of Austria Hungary and It's politics at the time. It's really nice to see different perspective on the history.3 found this helpful

This is more of a neutral game to me than anything else ngl. I can't really recommend it? But it's not bad to the point where I would say "no don't play it". It's literally 15 minutes of story, and more if you cared about the minigames (I didn't). I liked the art! That's about where it begins and ends though. The story fell apart for me because of the resolution it had. It was pretty okay in the beginning, nothing too unusual besides the fact that the setting is different from what I'm used to seeing. Then came the solving of the "mystery" and it was really just all trying to vaguely guess who should take the blame? It was confusing to try and navigate what the game really wanted you to do. In the sense of like, I have NO idea what the goal is to it all. Find the culprit but there's no. deduction? You just cycle through pinning it on someone else and the more you dawdle the less points you get??? Or something??? I don't get it lmao. Genuinely I don't know whether I got a good outcome or not. It was a good ending I guess? I have no idea what the point system was for either. Or the bell in the corner (they said something about going to pray but it literally never comes up again, so m…1 found this helpful
Great short game, exactly what you'd expect, the mini-games are easy and satisfying to complete
