A Dog Named Mato is a small-scale puzzle platformer that builds its identity around changing the orientation of entire stages. Rather than relying on elaborate combat or complicated character progression, the game asks players to guide a courageous dog through an unusual inverted world where walls, floors, and ceilings can effectively exchange roles. Developed by Dnovel and published by Conglomerate 5, it embraces a straightforward indie design that places environmental puzzles and spatial awareness at the center of the experience. The most important mechanic is the ability to rotate levels. At first glance, an obstacle may appear impossible to cross, but turning the environment can transform a wall into a usable floor or reposition Mato so that a previously unreachable area becomes accessible. This mechanic encourages experimentation because solving a puzzle frequently involves looking beyond the level's current orientation. Garbage, low quality, low effort puzzle game. Somewhat buggy and obnoxious. Dont bother. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)

This is a fun little puzzle game. Its never too hard, its never too frustrating. It can be glitchy at times, kicking you out of the game for no reason and with no warning. Due to the easy difficulty and autosave feature, this is never much of an issue. Recommended.
