About A Fugu's Dive
A glimpse into the daily life of a Fugu."A Fugu's Dive" is a 2D physics-based action game where you use mouse controls to make a Fugu jump and climb higher. Skillfully jump from one body of water to another without falling, and aim for the goal.
- Hold the left mouse button and pull back to charge up power.
- Release the button to launch the Fugu in the opposite direction with the stored power.
- You can cancel the charge by right-clicking while holding down the left mouse button.
- Once the Fugu is in the air, it cannot be controlled.
- Press the Esc key to open the pause menu.

Having finished my 3rd run now, I'm happy to say I really enjoyed A Fugu's Dive. If you're a fan of other rage climbing platformers ("Foddians") like Getting Over It, Jump King, A Difficult Game About Climbing, Slimper, etc., you'll certainly appreciate this one too. As usual in the genre, there is a mystery waiting for you at the top of the map, and after being introduced to the controls, you'll need to decide if you have enough curiosity and determination to find out exactly what it is. The simple mouse-only movement mechanic is fun to master, and the difficulty certainly lives up to the genre. The physics are extremely consistent and I encountered no gameplay bugs to speak of. However, the real standout qualities are the polished art style and environmental design, with the cheery cartoon world provoking a feeling of calm contentment in contrast to the punishing gameplay. It's just so lovely to look at that you can't stay mad for too long, even after failing the same jump for the 20th time in a row or launching at the perfectly wrong angle to send you tumbling down to the bottom of the zone.2 found this helpful

Graphics : 10,000/10 Super polished, gorgeous, and SO cute. imo on par with big games. Audio : 5/10 Nothing memorable. Gameplay: 5/10 A typical rage bait game. • I didn’t know how to play at first, just a one-line tutorial would be enough. • How do I respawn at a checkpoint? There are no control settings. I’ve tried R, Space, Enter, etc. Bug? • The game's icon on taskbar is still the Unity logo.2 found this helpful
