About a land Goo's crazy
If you want to slash and dash your way through enemies, fight difficult bosses, and collect unique items, then this 2D roguelike action game is for you.
Here’s what you get to do...

Hack, slash, shoot, dodge, dash, and block using different fighting skills to beat your way through enemies and bosses. But it’s not all just mindless combat.
You have to pay attention to different enemies and learn their patterns if you want to survive.

Every run is different because you’ll never know what unique abilities you’ll pick up on your journey.
And there are 760 unique abilities you can collect to help you survive your run.

To help you fight your way through the Kingdom, there are 26 unique companions you can pick from.
And because each companion is unique, you can pick one that matches your playstyle.

The levels are arranged in Battlezones. In each Battlezone you fight groups of Goo’s. Once you clear the Goo’s, you fight a Boss. Your reward?
You get to meet a merchant where you can buy loot to help you in the next Battlezone.

Each boss you face will have their own unique patterns that you'll need to master. Different bosses will need different tactics.
So part of your journey is to learn these bosses and adapt your skills to each one.

Video review: https://youtu.be/DBndPxmF3Fo The developer reached out to me and asked me to play. The game obviously has a lot of good intentions, though it is hampered a bit by the implementation. The game's a roguelike where you traverse through multiple levels and kill goo creatures, collecting some kind of pages that can be used to give you upgrades, and you can also buy stuff too. There are multiple goo forms you can take on, though I only managed to become one of them. The levels I experienced are mostly small-ish areas where you kill a certain number of goos before moving into another one, or finding yourself at a store/upgrade area. The combat is somewhat hampered by the environment at times, as the goos will be hidden by rocks or the grass. It's a minor complaint, and as you play you'll likely experience this less as you will have some areas that don't have rocks or long grass for them to disappear in. Combat itself is fairly simple, at least with the character I had. There is visible impact on the enemies, so you have a decent idea that you're actually causing damage to them. There are... restrictions to killing these mini-bosses/bosses that aren't really explain…3 found this helpful
It's a nice rougelike game with seemingly deep lore, tho i didn't play enough to piece the puzzle together. The game still needs some polishing tho, but at this price point with an active and passionate dev i definetly recommend it. The soundtrack is really nice and fits the theme of the game very well.1 found this helpful
A uniquely crafted roguelike experience. Fantastic controller support. Combat and movement is pleasingly fast. Worthwhile upgrades are plentiful and the goos are fun to encounter and amusingly varied. I prefer roguelites, so I was happy to find that "memory" can be kept between runs to allow for a feeling of accomplishment and noticeable growth. Furthermore, in a sea of roguelikes and roguelites out there, a land Goo's crazy has a distinctive art direction and very nice music. Worth playing!1 found this helpful
Easy to start but so many options within the game to play! Always something new to explore1 found this helpful
A fun little adventure game with a beautiful world despite it's lower graphics is pleasant to the eyes. The game handles well and is charming with abilities you gain as you go through the game, merchants for potions, and a wide variety of foes to go up against! It also has pleasant music to boot =) be sure to give it a go! If you want a more intensive view of the game just look me up on YouTube where I played the game - ASWhaler Gamer1 found this helpful
This game is definitely something new. There is humor, action, and roguelike elements to keep you entertained. The basic gameplay is: fight a room of enemies, survive, then fight a boss round and get a chance to buy something around the shop. It's a little rough around the edges, but the game has a lot of heart and some clever goo names. You can tell a lot of work and time has gone into this.1 found this helpful
