A Bird Story

Even though there was not a single dialogue on the game, I still cried. Another W for the To The Moon saga :')

The story is nice and all but a bit too unnecessarily over the top, like taking care of a bird isn't that taxing to reach these levels of mental distress and seeing phantoms and whatnot. Why the hell was that vet so hellbent on taking the bird from the kid? I was expecting the kid was in a coma and experiencing weird nightmarish experiences after actually getting rabies from that raccoon and just making up the whole bird story lol Nice music though.

Absolutely beautiful

This is a game that's been sitting in my Steam library for over 12 years collecting dust. I have no recollection of ever purchasing this game, nor do I have any idea why I possibly would have purchased it. For a moment I actually thought it must be some kind of malware. Regardless, I played through it because I'm on a mission to beat all of the 140+ games I've bought on Steam over the years that I never got around to actually playing for some reason, and I started with this one because it was apparently less than two hours long. This game is under two hours long, just about an hour and a half, something like that. I can safely say that that is an hour and a half that I will NEVER get back. This game was actually so boring that I had to hit a literal goon sesh in the middle of the game just to not pass away of understimulation. The most wild part about it, is that the game is actually so brain dead that I actually gooned with my left hand while playing the game with my right and could simultaneously progress through the game with no issues whatsoever. Brilliant little addition To The Moon! Once again, fantastic storytelling (don't go in for gameplay).

When I first saw this game, I thought, pixelated game, it's about an animal, everything is very cute, the music is kind of melancholic, and I said, alright, this is a game to cut my wrists with. And since I'm a masochist, and it was on sale, I bought it. And honestly, it's a nice game. It's a NOT a game that's for cutting your wrists, but it's something that mostly leaves you with a smile from the love story between this bird and his friend. What I don't agree with is the price. I don't think it's a game worth paying full price for. I do think it's worth a discounted price of one dollar, since it's a game that's going to last less than an hour, and it's only there to see a small, cute story made in RPG Maker. But it's not worth the full price. Get it on sale. Even so, it's a cute game that I liked.
