Chill Corner is one of those games I can leave open while I am doing something else, and that is really the whole point. I have a little room on screen with a character and pets sitting around while music plays in the background. I can change the room, adjust the weather and just let everything run while I work, browse the internet or play something else. It is not trying to give me a big story or a serious challenge, and I actually like that because sometimes I just want something that makes my desktop feel a bit nicer without asking for much attention. The atmosphere is easily my favourite part. There are different rooms and weather effects, and I can decorate the space to make it feel more like my own little corner. The music is also a big part of the experience, with lo fi, acoustic and other relaxing tracks that fit the whole idea really well. I like being able to make my own playlist too because I can choose what I want to listen to instead of being stuck with one fixed soundtrack. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. This is quite literally just a copy of a pre-existing game called virtual cottage and for the most part this game doesn’t even try to hide the fact that it’s copying that game. I will admit I'm aware that there are a small list of things that separate this from virtual cottage because there’s some small original things here and there, but for the most part this literally just feels like virtual cottage with a different coat of paint.

The matching minigame with cute monsters is addictive

If someone likes to have an app to help focus, this game is perfect for that. Allows to add tasks and set timers, like pomodoro method, while building you room and decorating it as you wish. To the achievement hunters, you earn 1 in-game currency per minute, and some achievements require you to buy items, took me 38 hours to make all money needed to buy everything to complete the achievements.
