A Walk With Yiayia

ended up calling my dad after finally playing this, have had it on my backlog for a while now and i think i was honestly too afraid to play knowing i would feel guilty for not reaching out to my family as much as i should. i finally got that push and i'm grateful for it. it was a clunky and awkward call, i asked how my grandparents were doing and ended up scheduling a time to visit them early next year. every family isn't perfect, i'm not particularly close with mine but i still care. yiayia really makes it known you should show that you care. i can't wait to see my grandmother next year (:

What an adorable. lovely, sentimental, and great game! It is a quick one, but boy, do I wish more games like this existed. You can tell this game was made with so much love and care and it really hits you in the feels. Most people would not consider this a masterpiece. I do! A short, calming, and relaxing game where you go on a walk with your grandmother. It has some sweet introspective dialogues on her life as you talk with her to learn about her time growing up. I think it was a good game and I did enjoy it myself, but I know the price can be off putting to most as well, but I can still recommend it.
