If you're an old arcade crawler like I was playing games like Cadash, Rastan, and console games like Castlevania while loving the Sega Genesis sound processor and the BGM it produced, this is the game for you!! Picking this game up at full price would have been worth it, but luckily I got it on sale, so either way owning this game is a win. It's quick, easy to pick up and there's some actual story telling throughout the game which keeps you moving. The levels never last so long that you're begging for it to be over, but it's not so easy that you can plow right through them either. This game requires timing and patience, but overall it's been a blast to play so far. The game allows you to buy accessories to level your character up with gear that enhances everything from speed to strength, etc... I cannot wait to beat it and give a final review. It's on sale now, so if you got about 10 bucks to play with, this is worth the purchase. Abathor, it's what's for gaming breakfast :-) Oh, to use your special item, just hit up and attack at the same time

Banger of a game! You should play it directly on the hard difficulty if you seek the true experience. I did not finish it yet but I am very impressed. Amazing soundtrack, amazing graphics and amazing enemy variety. I love the shop and respawn system.

Gameplay controls are stiff af and overall doesn't feel good to play, I get what they were trying to do, but c'mon it's 2026. Not worth the effort of finishing1 playthrough

The game stretches to fit your screen, even when you have your graphics card set to maintain aspect ratio and override the game settings. Who the hell wants to play a game that is stretched out and distorted? I have an ultra-widescreen and so the stretching looked atrocious and made the game unplayable. What a shame. There's probably a good game lurking behind that horrible design decision.
