About Absence
Absence is a horror\survival game that will make you question the people,
and things around you.
You've awakened in a bathroom, only knowing that someone has left to the main office to get you help.
Take a look around you, navigate through the area and meet your friend in the office.
There is a strange sense of something missing around you.
what were you doing there? where is there?
can you remember who you are? who's leaving you notes?
can you get to the main office? or out of the park?
will you find out what is missing? or will you go missing too?
& on top of everything else, what is that noise...?
and things around you.

Some truly horrific games have been made throughout history, games which have left us terrified, afraid, scared, shivering in our boots (or clogs, come on represent yall).. but even if a game hasn’t left you feeling any of these things you’d at the very least hope it was good... Sometimes horror games get made that leave you scratching your head and wondering WTF did you just play... Now I’m not going to say Absence was a bad game because it’s a unity asset flip,, I mean the game only cost .99 cent, if you go into the game expecting something awesome like Outlast or The Evil Within you’ll be highly disappointed. If you go into the game with an open mind you might find yourself having an hour or two of fun... Well actually.... The game really seems to miss the mark.. The first part of the game sees you wandering through a forest with no real direction, you’re greeted by Five or six “locations” a bathroom where you start, a tiny shack which has a flashlight, a set of swings where you can find a picture.... another tiny shack with pretty much nothing, another smaller room with a table because why not.. A locked gate, and a tent which you can clip through .... Awesome.. So aft…15 found this helpful
This game is what I would call I would call the absence of a game. It is one of the most janky games that I have played in a long time in which the way this game has been developed makes progression nigh impossible and I salute those who had the fortitude to keep going on to complete this monstrosity. The reason I say this is because if you die you have to start from the very beginning of the game. There is no continue to continue where you left off. The game is painful as it is nothing but a load of stock unity assets. The game has loading screens pouring out of the wazhoo after you make it no more than 20ft. Its running mechanic is infuriating as it can kill you if you do it too much and you feel like you're going at snail pace anyway. The creature that hunts you is made to not be scary as even if it is on the opposite end of the map to you it will spawn into existence ontop of you and therefore you will die because of this. Music was oddly paced for timing and what you were doing so it did nothing to add to the atmosphere. The game also stonewalls you before you can enter the map where you will first encounter the creature unless you brute force your way in by using a glitch to…2 found this helpful

beat in an hour. 1 easy achievment. feels clunky and you die if you sprint too long. annoying when monster is right behind you. dont recommend it unless its $1 or less.
