This single player game needs internet access to play? If you have a laggy connection you will end up pausing everytime you play a card. sometimes you will find yourself in a reward selection screen selecting your first reward but since it takes a while for the server to respond you get stuck in that menu. until you get a server response and while still waiting the menu is still active so clicking somewhere will get you to select your 2nd reward before you get to see it.

Mecha Nova has been an incredibly addicting mix of card-based roguelike and Mecha combat. In the current patch, the three starter mechs have incredibly diverse but semi-limited build potential which has had me try several different combinations of drones, commands, items, and buffs/challenges. While it's been incredibly fun, in the current campaign there does seem to be some guaranteed pitfall challenge cards, for example the Operation cards on the defeat of the enemy Caracal give you what look like 3 manageable challenges >Gain/maintain nano between 100/200 with below 100 buffing enemy mechs, and above buffing your echa >Gain permanent +4/0 for your mech and when enemy drones are destroyed the enemy mech gains 0/+3 CA >Gain +1 EPM, but all enemy drones gain +2/+2 At first glance you figure you can build around all of these but then you run into the next act's boss and suddenly only one of these challenges is viable to your victory regardless of how you build your setup. Take into account enemies being able to bypass coating and outright delete your drones and this leads to less overall creative solutions to the current campaign. That being said, the game is really fun and…

10 minutes into the game, the very 1st enemy makes the game stop working. I tried to exit the game and turn back later, but the game stuck at the loading screen. This game is really the worst game I've ever played.

Pros: Fun, well designed mechanics. Looks great. Great power fantasy of summoning units and other mechs. Feels a lot like a turn based battle network. Meh: Very breakable. Easy turn 1 or 2 kills. Con: Fairly easy once you understand the mechanics, and kind of takes a long time to play a run. I've played two runs with the first mech and it took 3.5 hours. One to learn the game, and one to win. Not sure if there are difficulty settings.
