Acid Nimbus

"Acid Nimbus" is an extraordinarly poor (and objectively failed) 2D top down twin stick shooter with content paywalled behind DLC (so this is not truly free) and no reason to want to buy that anyway... this is basically just a reskin of a very basic GameMaker Studio pixel shooter game template (I've seen the same used in many Russian fake game asset flips), making this pretty damn close to being an effective asset/template flip itself. What do you do in the game? It's just incredibly lame 2D top down twin stick wave survival shooting of the lowest possible quality. The game lacks options for adjusting resolution, which means you can't ensure the game runs at your display's native resolution. This design choice may cause the visuals to appear less than optimal on just about every modern LCD/OLED display. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. great f2p game, the controls feel crisp and there is a lot of enemy variety and level mechanics keeping it fun for the entire playthrough. there are some weird hitboxes and not so great mechanics like the dash barely having i-frames and being so long that a lot of times, especially when dashing up/down, you dash an attack and get instantly hit by an off screen enemy/projectile or worse dash straight outside the map instantly dying, there is also some rng with the acid pools spawning (how you reload your weapon) it would be nice to have an arrow or something telling you where they are, because a lot of times you can't find them, can't kill enemies cause no ammo but they keep spawning and you end up getting overwhelmed, but that might be a skill issue tho. overall really good game, i would recommend you try it if you like bullet hells/2d shooters, i mean it's free. the dlc adds a couple of levels and some cute skins, it's pretty cheap so if you like the base game and want to support the dev is worth getting imo.

I am not a huge fan of this game or anything, it's just been at the top of my Steam library for so long because I got it back when I didn't have money to buy games so I played anything that was free. Its really good but really hard.

Каждый забег уникален благодаря процедурной генерации уровней и разнообразию оружия и улучшений. Поначалу сложно разобраться в хитросплетениях механик, но как только освоишься, остановиться невозможно. Исследование биомов, сражение с толпами врагов и открытие новых способностей – процесс невероятно затягивает. Уровни сложности сбалансированы, что позволяет не отчаиваться даже после нескольких поражений. Особо хочется отметить саундтрек, он прекрасно дополняет атмосферу безумия и хаоса, творящегося на экране. Недостатком можно считать некоторую однообразность врагов, но это с лихвой компенсируется разнообразием оружия и активных способностей. В целом, 'Acid Nimbus' – отличный выбор для любителей динамичных rogue-lite игр. Рекомендую!

It's a very plain and simple game. It's not bad, it's playable.
