About Acid Nimbus
Acid nimbus is an action game in which you will have to manage your ammunition, dodge projectiles, charge with your bayonet and position on the stage wisely to withstand the maximum number of attacks and get the highest score.
It consists of 5 stages of various characteristics with several types of enemies, and a selection of rifles that can be unlocked upon reaching the required score. Each stage has its own amazing music.
Whenever the player has enough acid in the tank, the protagonist can shoot her rifle. To recharge her ammunition, she must position herself above the pools of acid that appear in random spots on the stage.
The protagonist can also make a charge with the bayonet, and this ability has a cooldown of about 3 seconds. The bayonet kills all enemies within its reach, and can also destroy the enemy projectiles. The bayonet charge is a skill that allows you to reposition yourself on the map to escape compromising situations or to kill multiple enemies in the same area.

great f2p game, the controls feel crisp and there is a lot of enemy variety and level mechanics keeping it fun for the entire playthrough. there are some weird hitboxes and not so great mechanics like the dash barely having i-frames and being so long that a lot of times, especially when dashing up/down, you dash an attack and get instantly hit by an off screen enemy/projectile or worse dash straight outside the map instantly dying, there is also some rng with the acid pools spawning (how you reload your weapon) it would be nice to have an arrow or something telling you where they are, because a lot of times you can't find them, can't kill enemies cause no ammo but they keep spawning and you end up getting overwhelmed, but that might be a skill issue tho. overall really good game, i would recommend you try it if you like bullet hells/2d shooters, i mean it's free. the dlc adds a couple of levels and some cute skins, it's pretty cheap so if you like the base game and want to support the dev is worth getting imo.
I am not a huge fan of this game or anything, it's just been at the top of my Steam library for so long because I got it back when I didn't have money to buy games so I played anything that was free. Its really good but really hard.
Игра 'Acid Nimbus' – это глоток свежего воздуха в жанре rogue-lite shoot 'em up. Завораживающий визуальный стиль в кислотных тонах отлично сочетается с динамичным геймплеем. Каждый забег уникален благодаря процедурной генерации уровней и разнообразию оружия и улучшений. Поначалу сложно разобраться в хитросплетениях механик, но как только освоишься, остановиться невозможно. Исследование биомов, сражение с толпами врагов и открытие новых способностей – процесс невероятно затягивает. Уровни сложности сбалансированы, что позволяет не отчаиваться даже после нескольких поражений. Особо хочется отметить саундтрек, он прекрасно дополняет атмосферу безумия и хаоса, творящегося на экране. Недостатком можно считать некоторую однообразность врагов, но это с лихвой компенсируется разнообразием оружия и активных способностей. В целом, 'Acid Nimbus' – отличный выбор для любителей динамичных rogue-lite игр. Рекомендую!
It's a very plain and simple game. It's not bad, it's playable.
There's not much here, but it's a solid free game. Shotgun is absolutely OP. Easily scored 30000 points on the final boss stage (the goal in every stage is 3500). I didn't get much use out of the right click dash attack though; it's a pretty underwhelming mechanic. 5/10 easily skippable, but it's not actively bad either; i have neutral feelings for Acid Nimbus.
