About Actua Soccer 2
Originally released in 1997, Actua Soccer 2 continued the series with fast-paced, exciting football simulation, motion capture by a young Michael Owen, and involvement by Alan Shearer - who picked out his very own dream team from the history of the Beautiful Game. Now, relive those days in this remastered emulated version. This particular version was originally published for the PlayStation.
Play the 97/98 international season, a custom season, a cup, friendly or practice sessions. Play with one of 11 national teams, Alan Shearer's hand picked All Star team (featuring such greats as Beckham, Bobby Moore and Pele), or your own custom team.
Supports up to 4 player local co-op (separate game controller required for each player).
This enhanced version introduces a number of modern features to this retro classic, including:

Well, I have to say it plays much better than I expected. I enjoyed full compatibility for my Xbox 360 controler, which was a great surprise. It has also aged technically overall - I assume that this version was updated to integrate with Steam, modern systems and controllers as well. It also runs quite smoothly and has licenced players/teams with nice player names in the commentary. An absolute must buy when discounted2 found this helpful

Please be aware, this is the PS release version not the original PC release. Different menus and some features such as Scenarios appear to be missing. My childhoold nostalgia slightly knocked despite the joy of seeing this on the store.1 found this helpful
the saves don't work. don't bother buying it.
Great game. Really fun. No matter how old it is, it's still one of the best soccer games out there.
Gremlin's Actua-series was way ahead if its time...
